“Invaders” - One-Panel Cartoon Strip
The idea with this project was to tell a story in one, single image. Here I take the alien invasion cliché and flip it — Human astronauts are the scary invaders to the inhabitants of some unsuspecting alien planet.
“Star of the Sea” - Concept Art Gallery
“Star of the Sea” is Adrian’s concept for an animated film about a young Sea Witch and her Sailor Father who go on a fantastic ocean voyage into a world of magic, wonder and treachery, in search of her missing mother—Jules Verne meets Harry Potter. “The Devil’s Run” — Storyboards

The Woodland War is a novel for young people which Adrian is currently writing and illustrating. It’s an epic fantasy tale of war and survival in the animal kingdom—equal parts Tolkien and Kipling. Here are some concept drawings depicting the story’s ensemble cast of heroes and villains.

“Brute” — Animated Film Beat Boards
Below are keyframes from ‘Brute’, Adrian’s proposed animated silent short film. It’s an ode to German Expressionism and Golden Age Superhero cartoons—Fritz Lang meets Max Fleischer. It tells the story of a mechanical man inhabited by the soul of a dead Viking Warlord.
“Space Force” — Character Designs
Space Force is a pitch for an Action / Comedy animated series that tells the story of a crew of intergalactic explorers on a mission to discover alien worlds and new civilizations. Lighthearted and fun, Space Force is able to poke fun at the space-travel genre while still delivering plenty of the genre’s requisite action and thrills.
